Why
Reema Sen couldn’t make it to
the top? |
|

|
|
When
Reema Sen made her debut with the
Maddy starrer Minnalae, she showed
a lot of promise and raised great
expectations of her. But the girl
fizzled out after a couple of movies
and was reduced to doing item numbers
or doing one of the two or three heroine
roles. She is now starring with Vishal
as one of the two heroines, the other
being Shriya Reddy. In the Simbu starrer
Vallavan too, she is one of the two
heroines, playing sidekick to Nayantara. |

There
is nothing wrong with her looks or
the oomph factor or her histrionics.
Yet, she has not made it to the top.
Why?
That’s an interesting question
and people in the know say that it
is because of Reema’s personal
philosophy and life style. She wants
to have a broad margin to her life.
Eight hours for shooting and the rest
of the time to herself. Nothing of
cinema should disturb her. |

|
|
|
That
is reason why Reema keeps hopping
from hotel to hotel without informing
anyone of her whereabouts. Most of
the time, her mobile phone is switched
off. She is just not reachable by
any way.
Reema loves her privacy very much.
Visitors are seldom encouraged even
if they get to know where she is staying.
This is putting off the cinema guys
who are accustomed to being pampered
by heroines, especially guys who can
make or undo an actress. |

|
Those who know the industry well have
counseled Reema but to no avail. Reema
is sure that she doesn’t want
to change. Hence there is no change
in her career graph. If things go
on as they do now, Reema will be doing
some more item numbers and some more
sidekick roles. Yes, unless, something
happens, say like a great role or
great movie. But then, you need a
director who would appreciate Reema
as she is now.
