Money…money…money These are the three words that drive the movie. The plot is about money, greed n backstabbing. Director Venkat Prabhu (VP) has played the in-n-out game well. Ajith excels in a grey shaded character. His body-language, dialogue delivery n charisma prove that he is one the best 'VILLAIN' of Tamil cinema. His salt and pepper look perfectly matched his role as Vinayak Mahadevan. Arjun as usual looks suave in his role as a cop. All the boys under VP’s camp fit into the characters to the T. Premji is little annoying at some parts. Vaibhav and Aakash were significant. The new boys- Mahat and Ashwin make a mark in their debut film. Female cast has nothing much to do though Laksmi Rai was impressive. Trisha n Anjali add sympathy to the script. Andrea is totally wasted. Cinematography n editing make the script racy (from the second half). The first half is draggy yet it is forgiven for the fast screenplay in the second half. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is a letdown. Not all the songs are hummable. But he scores high with his BGM n title track. VP has stated his name in the list of successful directors of Tamil Cinema... Bravo! Not to miss – Ajith & Arjun’s interactions & end credit Overall – MANGATHA – In n Out Game....Ajith's 50th film is a definite 'IN' for him and his team. Gopinath Ramasamy go_peaz27@yahoo.com
