In the past 10 years or so piracy has been the ultimate cause in the demise of Tamil cinema industry and for the first time in Tamil cinema the makers of Ambuli have paved way to put an end to piracy by releasing the movie in stereoscopic 3D. I would like to appreciate the entire Ambuli team for taking the foundation step to save Tamil cinema from piracy.

I don’t want to reveal the story as it would kill the suspense element of the movie. To tell about the movie it was a great experience watching a Tamil movie in 3D. The story is a well made scientific thriller which is set at the village backdrop of 1970's. The lead pairs have delivered a commendable performance well supported by experienced artists like Parthiban,Thambi Ramaiah. Jagan for the first time has done a powerful role in this movie.

As for the technical side goes the director of photography Sathish has captured the amazing visuals which gives the feel of 1970's perfect to core. The music has turned out enjoyable and melodious. Directors Hari Shankar & Hareesh Narayan have made sure that the audience are gripped to their seats till the end. At the end of the movie they have also given a probable hint of making Ambuli (part-2).

I hope more and more Tamil Movies come in 3D and finally there will be a day where PIRACY WILL MEET ITS END.
