My father V.K.S. Guruswamy Nadar
produced an advertisement (which
is now uploaded in your site

which was enacted by Dr. Kamal
Haasan and Mrs. Sandhya (mother
of former Chief Minister Ms.
J Jayalalitha) with AVM Meyyapa
Chettiar at their studios. The
advertisement had hit the screens
even before the release of his
first movie Kalathur Kannama
and Dr.Kamal Haasan was invited
for the first screening of the
advertisement to our place.
He performed both the advertisement
and some scenes of Veerapandia
Kattbomman live on stage. There
he was gifted with a silver
Natraja idol by my father. I
was accompanying him the whole
day of his visit. This picture
is a remembrance of it. I am
privileged and happy to remind
about his very first acting
venture in his 50th year celebration.
