Parthiban s 50th movie and his comeback vehicle after a long gap. Parthiban plays the role of assistant commissioner Rowthiran, who wants be a loyal police man, he faces challenges and pressure from his officials and other high level people to do his work properly. However Parthiban overcomes all the situations through his intelligence, he gets caught for a particular reason and dismissed from his job and put into jail. The second half follows the action taken by Rowthiran to destroy evil forces. Parthiban as a tough cop in first half and as a local don in second half has done his part well. Poorna as Mercy looks beautiful than her earlier movies and has enough scope for acting. Though the movie takes of very well, after the introduction of heroin there comes a little lag in the movie, also the songs have no purpose tests the patience of audience. The usual Parthiban kind of dialogues have come out very well and that played an important role in holding the audience attention. Though Parthiban has tried something interesting, why does even he has to stick to the 5 or 6 songs format that is killing the development of our cinema to next level.
