Deva
was first noticed in the movie, Manasukketha
Maharasa. For a couple of years, he was the
leading music director with the maximum number
of releases. His trademark was the peppy gana
songs which were a hit
with
the youth. He got the title, Thenisai thendral
from the legendary MSV. His combination with
superstar Rajinikanth worked out very well.
He has almost retired now as his son has taken
over the mantle.
