Ajith fans expected a lot after Varalaaru.
But sad to say, they have been completely
let down. The person to take the brunt
of the blame would be the director,
Chella, for a lackluster screenplay,
placid dialogues and poor execution.
The
initial collections, all thanks to the fans
have kept the movie afloat.
Screen Talk:
Not much to talk. Ajith is the one person factor
for which you will want to watch Aalwar. Otherwise,
there is nothing worthwhile. Asin is wasted,
Vivek’s comedy track fails to take off
and the villain is expressionless.
Trade
Talk:
The fans have sustained the movie over the first
week. The real picture will start emerging by
day 10. There are almost no expectations from
the movie. It seems to have disappointed wherever
released. If anything can save the movie, it
is Ajith’s fresh and young look and some
well shot action sequences.
