Some
may have rated him higher; but his absence from
the box office for the last one year has not
helped his cause. But he is not the one to cave
in so easily, after all he fought a long battle
before finally being accepted into the industry.
He is getting ready with Bheema and Susi Ganesan’s
Kandasaamy. He is the King of variety; you never
know what he is up to. He doesn’t have
huge fans associations usually associated with
big stars. Though his last hit was back in 2005
with Anniyan, he is still most wanted. His movies
do not usually cross 5.5 crores in budget and
can do business of around 8 crores. Draws around
2.5 crore per movie. The one glowing exception
being Anniyan; which had been made at a till
then unheard of budget and had sold for close
to 30 crores.
