She was a tough competitor to Silk Smitha
those days. She was introduced as a heroine
in Tamil movies, but as she was not successful
in that role she turned to be an item girl.
In some movies, she has also acted well. She
has worked under the ace director ManiRatnam
in a movie with Nagarjuna in the lead. When,
she acted in a Telugu movie with Arjun she
was in love with Sri Hari. In the year 1998,
she was married to Telugu actor Sri Hari and
she is leading a peaceful life and the couple
is also blessed with a child.
