The movie which made Jothika climb to the
pinnacle was Chandramukhi.
The role was assigned to Simran
but as Simran was on her family way, she was
not able to act in the movie. Jothika took
up the challenge and did a lot of homework
for the film Chandramukhi. It’s really
hard to get fame and name when Rajinikanth
is in the lead role. But Jothika broke the
shackles and most of the audience said “that
they went in to watch a Rajini’s film
and came out watching Jothika’s movie
“.
