Peralagan was a movie in which both the
protagonists acted in dual roles. Jothika
acted as a college going girl in one role
and in the other role as a blind girl. Before
the shooting of this film Jothika went to
a blind school,watched their activities and
learnt their behavior and actions. She was
able to portray the role of a blind girl in
a lively manner. The lead role in the movie
included Surya,
Vivek,
Manorama and Malavika.
