Many
years ago, Bharathiraja burst on the Tamil
scene with that moving film, 16 vayadhinile.
It had an impressive cast of Kamal, Rajini
and Sridevi. The heroine, Sridevi, was called
Mayil. Her sensitive performance together
with the burly character of Rajini and the
heart rending role of Kamal made the film
a hallmark for Bharathiraja. |
