Madhavan gets an image makeover in Thambi		November 24, 2005

Madhavan has become popular as the suave urban young man. He could be considered to have replaced Arvind Swamy. Just as Arvind tried to do a village subject in Thalattu which was released many years ago, Madhavan is doing a similar character in Thambi.

The film is directed by veteran Seeman. Maddy speaks the unique lingo and his character is called Thambi velu thondaiman. That was a mouthful! Thambi’s post production work is complete and the film will release on December 1. Meanwhile, the dubbed version of another Madhavan film Made in USA will also be released shortly.
