The first shooting schedule for Sivaji
had a song sequence canned in Hyderabad
at Ramoji Rao film city. This studio has
quite a few sentiments attached to the
Superstar. Duet songs for all his super
hits, Badsha, Arunachalam and Padayappa
were done here. Few scenes in Chandramukhi
were also done here. Superstar himself
was very particular that the song sequence
for Sivaji too be shot here.
Shreya
dancing with 60 professional dancers with
extremely rich costumes were shot. The
2.75 crores worth set resembling a palatial
palace was used for this song. Rajini
in a brown costume resembling an Egyptian
prince had the onlookers wonderstruck
by his youthfulness. The grandeur and
richness associated with Shankar’s
song sequences can be expected in this
song as well.
