"Rang De Basanti" is waiting to hit the silver screen after all its controversies. The most awaited Aamir Khan movie has Madhavan in a pivotal cameo role. Madhavan, who started his career in Hindi soap 'Sea Hawks' and Ad films, has done couple of movies like "Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein" and "Ramji Londonwalle". With this percolating graph in Bollywood, the chocolate boy is keeping his fingers crossed.

Madhavan is pleased enough to perform the character of Ajay Rathod, a Flight Lieutenant's role. Even though a cameo, he considers it a key role as the entire composition of the film is based on his character. Having missed the role of Sanjay Ramasamy in Ghajni, Madhavan deems that Ajay Rathod will definitely be a compensation.
