Aish’s diary is choc-a-bloc with
international film commitments till the
end of 2006. But, there are some hushed
comments that such statements are merely
a public relations exercise. These sources
reveal that Aish is slowly losing her
grip over Bollywood, primarily because
of this larger than life aura.
First
it was the showdown with Salman and then
the Girish fiasco with Hrithik Roshan.
The producers of Girish promptly roped
in Priyanka Chopra who gleefully agreed
to do the role. Similarly, in Prithviraj
Samyuktha, director Chandraprakash was
tired of waiting for Aish’s approval
and went ahead with casting Priyanka.
No doubt the former beauty queens are
in a race of one upmanship. Priyanka is
slowly taking her shot at the top slot
by doing films turned down by Aish.
