If you think, it’s just the battle of Vijay-Ajith that is going to dominate this pongal, then you are terribly mistaken. There is a different kind of battle going on.

Aathi, Paramasivan, Saravana and Pasakiligal are the confirmed releases on the pongal day. Paramasivan directed by P.Vasu and Saravana directed by K.S.Ravikumar will have a tough competition. Both the directors, the favorites of the Superstar are very keen to prove themselves.

 

Initially, Rajini had planned to do a movie titled Jaghubai for which K.S.Ravikumar was booked. Then, the movie was dropped and P.Vasu was offered the chance to direct Chandramukhi. The much disappointed Ravikumar wants to make a come back with vengeance. He has taken the extra care in making of Saravana. His arch rival P.Vasu is desperate to prove that Chandramukhi was not a flash in the pan and that he can deliver a hit without the screen persona of Rajinikanth. With each one of them keen to succeed, its advantage movie lovers.
