Bachan hosts the second edition of KBC on
STAR channel. This immensely popular show
was telecast on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The magic of Big B was definitely an important
factor for the soaring TRPs for this programme.
Now that he is unwell and recovering from
illness, the fate of many of his film, television
and modelling projects hangs in balance.

It is reported that he is shouldering the
burden of investment made by the producers
to the tune of nearly Rs. 53 crores. Everyone
is unanimous that it is not the right time
to talk about the commercial and financial
implications of the projects and that it
is more important to pray for the big man
to get well soon. As for managers at STAR,
they have already shed one day of telecast
every week. Meanwhile, if Bachan Senior’s
return is delayed then Abhishek Bachan would
don the host’s role and conduct the
