has reservations about her role in Tirupachi

A.M. Ratnam will produce the Telugu version
of Tirupachi. He approached Asin to play
the role Trisha did in Tamil. She decided
to take a look at her character and saw
Tirupachi. |

She
felt that her role did not carry much impact
and requested that in the Telugu version,
her role should have more substance. The
producers are in a dilemma whether to grant
her request or change the heroine. Tirupachi
is of course a larger than life hero’s
story and we do not know how much weight
could be added to the leading lady’s
character.
