Vettaiyadu Vilayadu, the prestigious project of Gautham Menon with Kamal is making waves in the cine circuit. The no cost spared movie is being sold to distributors at some unheard quotes. 4 crores is the price for Chennai-Chengalpet area alone. The movie was completely shot in the US, with final few shots being canned in the sets of Prasad studio. A car chase scene in New York was shot with all richness and touch of a Hollywood movie.

 

Some of the scenes shot were also shown to distributors and trade analysts. They were left mesmerized and speechless. This movie is one of the longest movies to be shot in the US along with Jeans. The music of the movie is also much expected, with Harris Jeyaraj at the helm of things. He is already said to have started working on the re-recording since Gautham wants back ground score to be top notch. Kamal is extremely happy with the way movie has turned out. He is said to have total confidence over Gautham menon’s judgements.
