Non-Bailable arrest warrant has been issued
against actress Kushboo by the Mettur court
for not appearing in the Defamation case
filed against her for the comments on pre-marital
sex. Earlier Kushboo invited trouble from
all quarters by her interview to a magazine
over a survey on pre-marital sex. This invoked
lot of protest from political parties and
from feminist outfits.
She even had to cancel her Singapore trip
mid way and returned to Chennai to make
a tearful apology. But the issue refused
to die and Kushboo had to run one court
after another to attend the cases. She had
even appealed to the High court to exempt
her from appearing in all lower courts.
Sources say that she had cited the rains
and road condition for not appearing before
the court today. At the moment Kushboo’s
road to future looks the same as our Chennai
roads.
