It
is surely the rainy season in Tamil Nadu.
While the monsoon has set in and the rain
gods have been more than generous, there
has been a huge following for films with
rain as the backdrop. Mazhai which was released
recently is doing very well. |

Shaam
made his debut in 12B in which he acted
opposite two heavyweight ladies, Jo
and Simran.
The film’s successful run, however,
did not bring him many offers. His work
in Iyarkai was appreciated and his recent
film, Ullam ketkume is doing just well.
His forthcoming film is titled Manathodu
mazhaikkalam. Challenge Sakthivel is the
director. Karthik Raja is the music composer
and Na. Muthukumar has written the songs.
Antony has produced the film under his ELK
Productions (P) Ltd. banner and a formal
launch of the film was held. Seniors like
R.B. Chowdhry, SPB and Ilayaraja participated
and wished the team success. |
