Renuka
Menon’s Malayalam
films were not exactly
big hits. So, she
turned to Tamil and
acted in February
14 and Dass. She paired
with heroes who were
riding the popularity
wave following big
hits. Bharat’s
Kadhal and Jeyam Ravi’s
M. Kumaran had raised
expectations. As it
happened both February
14 with Bharath and
Dass with Jeyam Ravi
flopped miserably. The
fate of the films of
these two upcoming youngsters
has put a question mark
over the suitability
of Renuka to pair with
big heroes. Fearing
that she would be branded
‘unlucky’,
Renuka is seeking fresh
projects.
