Music Review : June R
June R

The movie has created a lot of expectation among the audience because three decades of heroines like Saritha, Khusboo and Jyothika are united together for this movie. The movie is directed by debut director Revathy.S.Varma, who has already directed many ads. The story is about the emotional dwelling of tie-up between three women.
The music director Sarath has composed the music for this movie. Sarath has a wider popularity in the Malayalam industry and his music has a touch of rhythm and melody. The best part of this album would be the song sung by Usha Uthup.

1) Mazhaye Mazhyae: (Hariharan)
A soothing song! The song has already created a sensation through the trailers. A fantastic composition by Sarath and Hariharan has done the rest of the job with utmost ease. Especially, he sings the song with Carnatic base added with sweetness of his voice.
The right usage of Tabla also receives a round of applause.

2) Rim Jim (Mazhaye Mazhaye): (Hariharan)
This is replication of the song which Hariharan has sung. Sujatha has lent her voice to this elegant song. The lyrics are also penned beautifully; when it comes to rain the poets are twisting their thoughts and coming out with the best.

3) Puthu Puthu: (Usha Uthup, Chitra)
The highlight song of this album! Usha Uthup, the pop queen has rendered her voice for this song and the song has come out magnificently. Though she has crossed 60, her voice is same as it was in those days. Chitra, the national award winner has also joined together, so the song has got the maximum from the singer’s side. In no way, the compose Sarath is left behind and this particular tune would be the talk of the town.

4) Anbe Anbe: (Gayathri Varma)
A heartrending song! The violin usage gets the whole credit in this song. The song flows smoothly without much of ups and downs and the song and the music director stsnds high with his etiquette composition. The song is very apt for a pleasant sleep.

5) Eano Eano: (Sarath)
A fusion song! The song already mentioned is a fusion of classical and western music. The latest trend in composing is that the composer should sing a song himself and Sarath is no exception to that. His voice is really different but not that appealing. The start for the song is perfect but the flow is not maintained throughout.

Altogether, the album has come out very well and Sarath is expected to have a bright future in Tamil industry also.
