Remixes are the mantra,both in Bollywood and here
in Kollywood. Aircel as a part of its initiative
to provide more multimedia content to its subscribers,
is pairing up with Altosys to provide remixes
of Music Maestro Ilaiyaraja’s classics.The
remixes are composed by none other than, Karthik
Raaja, Isaignani’s elder son. Karthik Raaja
is working on 80 of Ilaiyaraja’s hits, that
includes Uravenum (Nadodi Thendral), Maman Machan
(Murattu Kaalai ), and Kodai Kaala Kaatre (Panner
Pushpangal ). The highlight of the album is the
performance by Kamal Haasan, who lends his voice
for ‘’Ninaivo Oru Paravai’’
a song which he originally rendered in the 1978
cult classic ‘’Sigappu Rojakkal’.
An excited Karthik Raaja said that he was delighted
to bring back his father’s timeless classics
to a new generation of music fans.We wish him
