which he has directed.
Having proved his mettle as director, this talented
man is reported to be booked by a firm to do ten
films. While getting into contract for three films
is considered something normal, getting roped
in to direct ten films is something unheard of
in the film world.
A much elated Priyadarshan says, "While I
cannot disclose the name of the firm that has
given me this opportunity, I plan to complete
the ten films in the next six years. In Bollywood,
a director completes only one film a year, but
I wrap up four films in a year. This is possible
if one concentrates on his work and Malayalam
film industry has taught me this".
He also adds that success is the keyword in tinsel
town and if one fails, he will be erased from
public memory very soon. For a question on whether
his films would have Shahrukh Khan as hero, the
director says with a chuckle that when his films
do very well at the box office for his sake, why
run behind big heroes.
