Gaghan is said to have been impressed with Hrithik’s performance in Lakshya and Dhoom 2 so much so that he wants to cast him in his next film tentatively titled Kafir. Hrithik is touted to play a Musilm terrorist who begins working for the CIA and is, therefore, branded Kafir, by the Muslims. Kafir is an Arabic word meaning ‘ingrate’ referring to a Muslim who is not willing to recognize Allah or someone who happens to be a betrayer of Islamic beliefs. Hrithik has agreed to do this film subject to the condition that the title is changed as his father Rakesh Roshan has advised him that ‘Kafir’ might not go down well with his Muslim fans.
