The third phase of Lok Sabha elections in Mumbai yesterday (April 30th 2009) witnessed some of the top actors, actresses, directors and producers queuing up to exercise their franchise.

The Bachchan family – Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan – came in together to cast their vote in Juhu. Shah Rukh Khan, who flew specifically down from South Africa, also voted later in the day. However, his counterpart Aamir Khan arrived early in the morning to cast his vote.

Noted film personalities including director Karan Johar, Sonali Bendre, Sonam Kapoor, Rahul Bose, John Abraham, Sanjay and Manyata Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, and Farhan Akhtar also exercised their franchise.
