Sanjay 'Munna Bhai' Dutt is going to try something that no one ever thought he would. Over a decade and a half, Sanjay Dutt has been an enduring image of what a macho man should be like. He was the one who could handle more than a gun at a time, bash up a dozen baddies, gulp down bottles of beer and talk

the Mumbai tapori tongue. Of course, there have been many people who have done this but no one has done this with the nonchalance that Sanjay Dutt did. He did it with such perfection that for the first time, people started loving a gangster character and playing gangsters on screen became fashionable.
Now Sanjay Dutt is going to do something that will deny and defy all the stereotypes that have been built around him about being the model macho of our times. Machos are not supposed to dabble in any soft skills, like poetry, gardening or writing; agree. Well, Sanjay is going to do something similar, he will be penning the script for the sequel to the highly successful Kaante.
Rumors suggesting this had been doing the rounds for quite some time, but this particular rumor had been hard to believe and it only made sense to wait for conformation. Now, the conformation has come. Looking at it, it seems a good decision. After all, no one in Bollywood has more experience in gangster subjects than Sanjay Dutt. The original Kaante had been an out and out gangster flick starring Sanjay Dutt, Amitabh Bachchan, Suneil Shetty, Mahesh Manjarekar and Kumar Gaurav; obviously Kaante 2 too will be along the same lines.
Happy scripting Sanjay...
