The movie was not expected to embark on a huge response and that’s exactly what happened. A 50-60% start was seen at almost all places, that’s what you get with an intense political drama. But, the Bachchan family’s performances coupled with Ramgopal Verma’s intriguing camera angles and thunderbolt like twists gave the movie the forward push. Saturday and Sunday responses were very positive and Sarkar Raj indeed does seem like a good comeback- if not a dream comeback- for Ramgopal Verma.
