Walt Disney in Bollywood!

A few months ago Reliance BIG Entertainment and Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks entered into a partnership to produce films. The latest news is that The Walt Disney Studios has signed up an agreement with them to distribute their projects. This was announced yesterday (February 10th 2009) at Burbank in California. As per the agreement, six films produced by DreamWorks every year will be marketed and distributed by The

Walt Disney Studios. The first venture of DreamWorks is expected to hit the theatres in the year 2010.

Speaking on the occasion, Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook said: “We're both thrilled and honored to be marketing and distributing all of DreamWorks' signature upcoming live-action motion pictures, and to begin a new relationship with such respected colleagues as Steven, Stacey and their creative team at DreamWorks.”
