SRK’s remake of Big B’s Don might not have gone down well with the critics but it was a commercial success big enough to encourage its director Farhaan Akhtar to plan a sequel to Don. Meanwhile, the makers of the original Don, Nirmal Irani and its director Chandra Barot have planned a sequel, inspired by the success of the remake by Farhaan, with the Big B playing the role of Don. Farhaan, however, claims that he has no idea of the sequel by Irani as he was not informed about it and that when he had approached them for their rights they had given him the liberty to exploit the story for 3-4 years and had even approved of his idea to make a sequel. Fans can hope for a feast if both the sequels make it to the screens.
