that is to be directed by Anurag Basu, featuring
Hrithik Roshan, the producer had signed up
Deepika to play the female lead. But according
to the latest reports she has been removed
from the project as the director felt the
female lead for this movie should look western
and that Deepika’s looks are far too
ethnic for the role. Inside sources, however,
reveal that the producer and director felt
that she isn’t a great dancer and
that the role requires her to be adept at
salsa for which even Hrithik is seriously
practicing. That sounds more appropriate
as it would be difficult for any actress
to match Hrithik’s moves. However,
Rakesh intends casting Deepika in one of
his future projects as he find immense potential
in her.
