the postponement of the release date from
November 12, 2007 to January 25, 2008, secondly
it was for the music rights, which was originally
sold to Big Music. But the company opted out
due to the impending delay in release of the
audio, which was later picked up by the UTV
who went ahead and launched their own music
company for this purpose.
Director Ashutosh had to put to rest some
of these rumors by announcing in his blog
that the movie’s audio will be out
on December 27, 2007. Hardly had the word
spread on the audio release, news sources
now has it that post-production work, like
editing, could delay the release date even
further. They say Ashutosh is having trouble
balancing between retaining all interesting
shots and making sure the duration of the
film doesn’t go beyond three hours.
UTV is speculating a February 15th release
but some say they might postpone it to March
as February is usually the time for school
exams. Now that’s another balancing
act the producers have to handle. |
