In keeping with his public image, Shahrukh having
noticed that the Big B was shooting for Sujoy
Ghosh’s Aladdin in set no. 3 took some time
off and went over to meet him. He embraced Mr.
Bachchan, who was caught unawares and this incident
brought the entire shooting to a standstill for
over five minutes.
Sources suggest that SRK wanted to silence the
gossip mongers churning out stories about the
Big B avoiding Smitha Thackrey’s AIDS event,
as SRK was present at the venue. As to whether
this might pave way for a few big banner productions
featuring the two, we will have to wait and watch.
