Janavi Kapoor's suicide attempt at the marriage
of Ash and Abhi venue created a flutter last
evening. For readers who don't remember her,
well, she starred opposite Abhishek in Dus.
The evening was marked with festivities at
both Ash's and Abhi's place with top film
stars and politicians attending the Mehendhi
ceremony.

Tight security arrangements have been made and only guests
with invitation cards were allowed inside the venue. Out
of the blue emerged Janavi Kapoor who started shouting
hysterically. Within moments, before anyone can comprehend
the situation she cut her wrists with a razor. All this
happened near Amitabh's Prateeksha bungalow. She has reportedly
stated that Abhishek tied the knot with her in a secret
ceremony last December but later ditched her to marry
Ash.
What is more shocking is that, she has said that Amitabh's
close associate and Samajwadi Party's general secretary,
Amar Singh has intimidated her with dire consequences
if she discloses this to the media. She also said that
her car was attacked by the Samajwadi Party's workers.
Janavi is now undergoing treatment at the Cooper Hospital
in Mumbai. Later on, she lodged a formal police complaint
against Abhishek.
