"I will not copy Jyothika"

Vidya Balan the heroine of the Hindi remake of Chandramuki says that she can sing classical songs and has also learnt Bharatanatyam professionally from a young age but this movie has offered her a rare and unique opportunity to display her dancing talent to the movie world.

She was all praise for Shobana's excellent performance in the dancing sequences in Manichitrathazhu, the Malayalam version of Chandramuki. Vidya was candid enough to admit that she has plans to emulate Shobana completely in the Hindi version and added that she may not take a cue from Jyothika's performance though she had heard rave reviews about the latter in Chandramuki.
