The Power Star has now stepped in the shoes of Bheemla Nayak for the official Tollywood remake of popular Malayalam movie 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' which was released last year.
The crew had resumed shooting for the movie and makers released a picture where Pawan Kalyan was seen donning the role of a cop. Sharing the image, Sithara Entertainments, the production banner bankrolling the film, tweeted yesterday (July 26), “#BheemlaNayak is back on duty. @SitharaEnts #ProductionNo12 shoot resumes today with all the safety precautions!”

Today (July 27), Sithara Entertainments shared a small glimpse from the sets and announced that the movie will be released during Sankranthi 2022.

'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' starred Biju Menon as Ayyappan Nair, a policeman and Prithviraj as Koshy Kurian, a retired army havildar. While Pawan Kalyan will be reprise the role of Ayyappan Nair, 'Baahubali' star Rana Daggubati will be seen in the role of Prithviraj.
