JUST IN: VIP 2'S OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE IS HERE | DHANUSH | KAJOL

Due to few untold reasons, VIP 2 which was supposed to hit the screens on the 28th of July for Dhanush's birthday was postponed to a later date. Now, the official announcement has come from the VIP 2 team stating that the film will release on the 11th of August.

After an impressive crowd pleasing trailer, the film has got a very good buzz among the audience. The film also carries a popular Bollywood beauty Kajol who plays the antagonist.

Apart from VIP 2, there are many other films who are eyeing for the Independence Day weekend. Now with Dhanush's VIP 2 booking a slot, can we expect some of the other movies to change their plans? Let us wait and see.
