Rumours started to come in from yesterday, saying that Suriya would be making a guest appearance in the biopic of Savithri, Nadigaiyar Thilagam. It was said that he would be playing the role of Gemini Ganesan in the film.

When we checked with Rajsekar Pandian, the co-producer of 2D Entertainment and Suriya's close friend, he denied this as a baseless rumour. After Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Suriya is expected to concentrate on his project with director Selvaraghavan, produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.

Nadigaiyar Thilagam, features Keerthy Suresh, playing the title role, while Samantha will be playing a very important role. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is made as a Tamil/Telugu bilingual.
