IRU MUGAN IS THE 3RD HIGHEST AFTER KABALI AND THERI!

According to Behindwoods Box Office Wing, Vikram’s Iru Mugan has grossed around 2.25 crores from its 4 days opening weekend at the Chennai city box office alone. This is an estimated total and not the official figure.

Iru Mugan happens to be the 3rd highest opener of 2016 in Chennai city after Kabali and Theri. Iru Mugan also happens to be Vikram’s 2nd all-time highest opening after ‘I’ which collected close to 4 crores from its 5 days opening weekend.

Top Chennai city grosser of 2016

1. Kabali - 3.5 crs (3 days opening)
2. Theri - 3 crs (4 days opening)
3. Iru Mugan - 2.25 crs (4 days opening)
4. 24 - 1.5 crs (3 days opening)
