Many popular films gave theatres a miss and went the OTT way and fans have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of theatres ever since COVID-19 cases have been gradually declining. It's been four days since theatres opened and the crowd is slowly picking up. Several Tamil films have either confirmed a theatrical release and announced a date or is expected to do so soon.

The cast includes Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Soori among others. The movie is bankrolled by Sun Pictures.
