The audio launch of Velaiyilla Pattathari, directed by cinematographer Velraj will happen on January 3rd, 2014. The film which is the first directorial venture for Velraj, will have Dhanush in the lead. Amala Paul will play the female lead opposite Dhanush.
Samuthirakani and Saranya Ponvannan will feature in important characters. Anirudh has composed the music for the film and the cinematography is being taken care by Velraj himself. The movie will apparently be the first audio launch for Anirudh for the year 2014.
The movie is produced by Dhanush under the banner Wunderbar Films.
