Ilaignan is written by the Chief Minister, directed
by Suresh Krishna and has Pa. Vijay with Kushboo,
Meera Jasmine, Ramya Nambeesan, Namitha, Suman
and Vadivelu playing significant roles. Reportedly
based on a Russian novel, Ilaignan is also Suresh
Krishna's 50th film.
