If one says that Jayam Ravi pretty much showed the way for the young breed of actors in 2009 then it would not be an exaggeration. Before the year began, he was happily perched as a successful actor comfortable doing family and love stories. Nothing was going wrong, yet he decided to take on uncharted territory and we saw a new face of Jayam Ravi. It is needless to say that Peraanmai has opened up new avenues for Jayam Ravi. It will be interesting to see where he goes from here.
