He is currently on a hot run of hits. If this is not an overstatement, one can say that he is at the moment, the hit-man of Kollywood. Almost all his recent films i.e. Singam, Aadhavan, Ayan, Vaaranam Aayiram, Vel etc. have been commercial successes. One would have to go back at least three years or more to find a Suriya film that had been declared a flop by the trade. Great going!
