A US-returned software systems architect with a lot of money, Sivaji (Rajinikanth) decides to start an empire called Sivaji Foundation and build educational institutions for the needy. To get this done, he is made to bribe every official and finally is penniless. What follows is his fight against an evil, soft-spoken business tycoon (Suman) who was the reason for all his difficulties.
