Chimbu Devan grabbed all eye balls with his historical comedy Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi. In fact the idea for this film was born out of his critically acclaimed cartoon strip in Ananda Vikatan of the same name where the character of Imsai Arasan was very popular. He was sub editor and cartoonist at Ananda Vikatan for a long time. He is said to have approached Dhanush for his next project but no official announcement has been made yet.
