Deiva Thirumagal was a sensitive and hard – hitting film with Vikram, Anushka and Baby Sara coming up with powerhouse performances. It would have been easy to get lost in this melee but Santhanam’s charming role in the film was made memorable by his natural exuberance and effervescence. It also gave the film a wonderfully light touch that proved invaluable in making it palatable.
