Boopathy Pandian and Vikram teamed up for a movie that was titled Vedi. It made a lot of noise for the fact that the team was trying to sign up the Telugu heroine Ileana. Ileana was signed up and the project kicked off until the shocking news about the project being shelved came up. Apparently Vikram and the director had creative differences and hence the fall out.
